My Alias is "Klutz"

So I have been called to be a teacher over the 7-8 year olds in Primary. I really have NO clue what I am doing, I've always had music callings! HELLO! And, I have the biggest class in the Primary, AND they are the roudiest! I had to break up a fist fight on Sunday! AAAAAAHHHHHH! Anyway, the point being is this: I was relating a story to them on Sunday about how I tore my Achilles Tendon this past summer, and referred to myself as "Sister Klutz." I shouldn't have said anything - last night I broke my toe, again! Can they call me to be the ward mute? Please?!

I feel for you b/c I just got called to be the 10 year old teacher and after weeks of them not listening to me I finally brought a book that I had been reading to Hallee from the library called "Manners at School" and we had a 5 minute lesson on manners... it seemed to work! We will see next week if they remember! It is sad when I feel like my 2 year old acts better than these 10 year olds!

This is me.... Kristen said...

ha ha!! That's the same age class that I have! Plus I play piano during primary - makes things interesting! Check out the "sugardoodle.net" site, and "ideadoor". They have great ideas for lessons! Sorry about the toe!
