I was scolded!

First things first, Lori and Heather, Cafe Rio on Centennial is open, in case you didn't know! We went there today for lunch and I almost had a meltdown. Plus, they gave us a FREE cheese quesadilla for Jocey! FREE! They will definitely get my business back!

Okay, now for the funny part. Last week, when we were redoing the backyard, I was sent out to buy a wheelbarrow to haul all the rock and dirt. I went to Wal-mart and found a lovely red wheelbarrow. Here's where the problem comes: how on earth do you fit a wheelbarrow into a car?! We have a pretty big trunk, so I tried to get it in there - no luck. So, I slid the front seat all the way back and tried to fit in in there - no luck. Last try, with Jocey in her car seat, I slid it in the back seat, handlebars securly locking Jocey in place until we could get home and get the big read beast out of the car.

So today, we went grocery shopping. I was putting bags in the trunk when I noticed some red scratches on the rear bumper. I thought, "Well that's strange," and tried to rub the red stuff off. (Honestly, it looked like we had picked up some red rock dust which isn't hard to do around here) Then it clicked, I must have scratched the bumper when I was loading the wheelbarrow! CRAP! Jon gave a sigh, blew it off, but Jocey didn't. Here's how the conversation went:

Jocey: "Oh Momma, what happened?"
Me: "Oh, mommy scratched the car."
Jocey: "(Big Sigh) Oh Momma, you in trouble?"
Insert lots of laughter from me and Jon
Me: "Yes Jocey, Mommy's in trouble."

I can't believe I was scolded by my toddler! I guess I'm grounded for life from putting anymore wheelbarrows in the car. Too bad. :)

I know...we went there Friday night because they were giving away FREE Food all day long. But when we got there, the line was out the door and around the corner. We were totally bummed. The boys were too hungry to wait in line so we ended up eating at in-n-out. But I'm glad its finally open.

Hey, Cat -- I dreamed about you last night! It was a really fun dream, you were really nice and made me some tiny birthday cakes. :)
