This is what my whole house looks like right now. It's T minus 18 days, but who's counting? Oh, right - I AM! It's a little bit of a panic time for me because I have so little time to get everything packed. I know most people look at me and say, "Are you kidding? You have plenty of time!" But when I move, I like to dump off stuff that I haven't seen since I moved in (in this case, 3 years).
I'm actually doing pretty well getting things packed. My sister in law came over this morning, and the first thing she says is, "Your house is naked!" Yes, it is! The curtains are down, the pictures are down, holes awaiting to be filled and painted. The only room I haven't really touched is Jocey's. It's a good feeling to be moving on, and I am looking forward to having a little more space.
I'm even making my first venture into refinishing furniture. Jon's mom has introduced us to consignment stores. We hit up on this past week and found a great 3 piece bookcase. It's finished in a bluish-grey paint, which I don't care much for, but the bookcase is really nice and we got it for a killer price! So, I get to refinish it once we've settled in to the new house. I'm also going to be repainting Jocey's bedframe. I'm redoing her bedroom in pink and browns and we got her a cubby bookcase for her room to put her toys in. I'm so excited to get into the new house, can you tell? :D

I LOVE to throw things away! I get a little high from it! :) It's also fun to fill up garbage sacks and take them to DI! They know me there! My rule is if you haven't used it in a year...lose it! Good luck to you! We are excited to have you as neighbors again!
having just gone through a move..... i SO don't envy you. YOU however have been able to do this in a months time... I ONLY HAD A WEEK! :p good luck!
