It's been an enlightening day for me. First of all, I am not normally up at this time (it's 1:00 AM in Las Vegas), but the stomach flu will kind of do that to you. Jon and I were watching the news tonight, and we came across a story that I cannot believe is actually true. You have to watch this. It was on the local ABC channel news. Jon's stepmom, Carmella, once told us that everyone has something positive about themselves. To challenge her, Jon's Dad said, "Oh yeah, well what about Satan?" She thought about it for a moment, then said, "Well, he's always on the job." And let me tell you, isn't that the truth.
Satan is ALWAYS on the job. During a time of financial hardship for our country, when gas prices are SOARING, he is using this opportunity to lure us to spend our money on prostitution. The brothel talked about in the news report is LEGAL! Yes folks, that's right, I said legal. And to draw customers, they're offering gas cards! Wow, now there's a novel idea - go spend $500 just to get a $100 gas card. So, you threw away $400 and got an STD in return! YAY! Welcome to Sin City! Unreal. Keith and I saw that too! I am absolutely horrified! I guess it was also advertised in the newspaper! Kind of makes you want to move.....
It's pretty sad what's becoming more and more accepted in this world. I think the saddest thing is, that Satan is going after the women and mothers now...and succeeding! It seems he's already got the men, but now women are becoming more and more deceived.
