Jon had a nice Father's Day, celebrating with his brother in law over the barbecue and watching the Celtics/Lakers game. Jocey made him a couple of cards and gave him lots of loves and kisses. Here's a round up of our weekend:
We started out by making Jocey a playhouse out of an old box. She loves it, pointing to it and saying "house." She even moved her baby doll stuff into it, along with her puppies. She likes to go inside, lay down with a blanket and pillow and read her books.
Here's the finished product of the house, shutters and all.
She has been working on kicking her ball around the house and has gotten pretty good. We can kick it back and forth with her now.
While she loves to play with balls and climb on stuff, she also has a very girly side. We broke out the fingernail polish and painted her toenails for her. She loves it, showing everyone her "pretty toes."
This was my favorite part of the weekend. I don't know why, but this kid LOVES pickles. We had to buy a whole jar just for her! And not the sweet kind, the sour dill pickles. Hilarious.

Sweet Fort!!! You guys don't mess around when it comes to building a playhouse! Cute pictures ... I love that Jocey opts out of shorts/pants some days ... much like my kids =) Sooooo, when you guys have time ... we'd like to hire The Yates Construction Co. to come over and knock out a modest, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom playhouse for us ... when you have time. =)
How was the movie? Speaking of BBQs when are you coming to one at our house?
