Today it was cold and windy outside. We have bid adieu to our beautiful fall, spent mostly in the upper 70's and lower 80's. It had to end sometime. We weren't able to have the windows open. I thought we were going to lose our lovely fall wreath on the front door. And my eyes and nose begged me for repeated showers all day long to get the dust and allergens out.
So, we stayed inside, all day. I'll admit it, we broke out "The Grinch." There's only so much a parent can do to keep kids occupied inside the house, all day. Did I mention that we were all in there, ALL DAY?! Yes, it got a little aggravating. But it was good once the kids were in bed and I was snuggled up next to my hubby, sipping on some Stephen's hot cocoa. Mmmmmmmm.... winter is almost here.
