I am the woman!

The dishwasher broke today.  So this is me, underneath the sink, trying to figure out what the problem is.  After working on it for 3 hours, I figured it out and fixed it!  WOO HOO!  And I didn't even need the help of a plumber.  Yes, yes, I did a little victory dance around the kitchen for about 30 second afterwards.  And I believe I sang a rendition of "We Are the Champions", filling in the words with "I am the woman, my friends..."  It was a beautiful moment.  I love being able to fix things by myself, most of the time.

And I have to admit, I pulled out Josh Groban's "Noel" CD, my yummy cinnamon spice candle, and a couple of Christmas decorations I got over the weekend.  Yes yes, I did it.  In my defense though, I got the decorations out (only what is in the picture!) because I was cleaning my kitchen and really did not want to take them out to the garage only to pull them back out next week.  But as for the CD and candle, yeah, that was my indulgence for the day.  There is something wonderful about a yummy spice candle and lovely Christmas music that just lifts my spirits.

And in the spirit of Thanksgiving, for my 10 days of thanks:
