Humpty Dumpty sat on
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
Can you guess what I did, AGAIN?! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD!
I was hanging curtains in our bedroom yesterday. Hanging curtains! I went to get off of the stool, and somehow, SOMEHOW, lost my footing and rolled my right food (when I was moving left, can anyone tell me how that happens?) underneath me. Not sideways, but front to back. I heard a loud pop, felt the pop, went slightly out of concious, and then felt the heat of the pain. Jocey was sitting there watching me so she saw me fall. As I lay on the floor crying out, "Not good, not good, NOT GOOD!" Jocey ran and got a pillow for my head, a pillow for my foot, called her daddy and left him a message that went like this:
"Uh, Dad. Um, okay. Mommy fell. She is hurt. So you need to come home."
Then she proceeded to my bathroom to get me a bandaid and some first aid cream. She is so funny. I love her so much. Thankfully, Caylee was asleep in her room at the time so I didn't need to worry about her for the moment. So I lay on the floor, unable to move, for the next hour while I waited for Jon to get home.
Our friend Curt came rushing over to help with the girls and whatever else we needed (THANK YOU SO MUCH!). And for the last 20 hours I have been in pain, trying to kick myself unsuccesfully for doing this again. Not sure yet if I need to have an x-ray done. I can put small amounts of pressure on it, enough to get around my house slowly. All I know is, my feet and ankles are my nemsis. They hate me. And they have good reason.
BAH!
