Avid readers (not sure you are that interested, but I like to think so)... I am starting to take pictures of our house.  I'm not even close to putting things away.  But, you all asked for pictures, so here are is a sneak peak:

Our front door mat - found it at Lowe's and I fell in love instantly!

Front door - I love that it has a window next to it.  Now I just need to get the front yard landscaped.

My pot rack that Jon bought me 2 Christmases ago.  I am finally able to use it.

The faucet that came with the house - am I going to change it?  HECK FREAKIN' NO!  I am in L-O-V-E!

We bought these ceiling fans at Lowe's and, with the help of our friend Curt, got them all installed on our first day in the house.  I am so grateful for ceiling fans in a 2700 sq. ft. house. 

Remember how I said the yard was overgrown?  Yup, can you tell?  The front yard was so bad we had to rip up everything except 2 small bushes.  That hideous/nasty/eyesore lovely palm tree in the middle of the yard is going to be yanked out VERY soon!  BAH!

Once I get things put away and sorted, I will take a ton of pictures.  The only thing that is waiting is carpeting and painting as time goes on.  The previous tenants painted the whole house white - W.H.I.T.E.  And they never cleaned the carpets in 5 years - not so sure they vacuumed either!  ICK!  So I am anxious to get some character in here.
