Happy 2010!

Oh we are so thrilled that 2010 is here. We have some big changes happening in our little family. You'll have to stay tuned for the news! One of my goals this year is to keep a better blog so that everyone is updated on our family (I especially want to do this for my dad so he can stay updated while he is in Iraq).

We are doing so good. Jon has started classes again, which keeps him super busy. I am just trying to keep up with everyone and everything. Jon and I have both started working out like crazy again. Jon is doing Crossfit with his brother, Manx. It's fun to hear the trash talk going on between the two of them. I humbly bow out of that regime though - it's insanely difficult. I marvel at the things the two of them can do.

Manx came down for a visit last week. He was here for a few days, and it was so fun to have him here. We went and had sushi (all of us are HUGE fans of it) on New Year's Eve, a family tradition for us. I only wish we could have seen his girls and boy, River. River and Jocey are close in age, look alike, and both are total mischief makers. Both are very affectionate and kind and it would be so fun to see them interact with each other.

We also blessed Caylee last weekend. Jon's dad and stepmom came down from Tooele to be here, and we also had Jon's sister's family there. It was a neat day and Caylee looked beautiful in her blessing dress. Jon gave her a beautiful blessing.

Caylee is 7 weeks old now and growing like a weed. She broke out her big smile for us these last 2 weeks, and man has she got her daddy wrapped around her little finger. She is almost grown out of her 3 month clothes, a feat that took her big sister 3 months to accomplish! She also moved out of Mommy and Daddy's room into Jocey's room (Oh, we are SO HAPPY!)

Jocey is loving being a big sister. She has adapted a new love for helping me with Caylee and around the house. She also has completely finished potty training! Yup, no more diapers or pullups! She has taken an interest in exercising with mom and dad each day. It's really fun to watch her do crunches and push ups.

We've had some pretty mild weather this first part of January. We've taken advantage of it to get out and go to the park a couple of times. It's nice to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air. Jocey has gotten pretty brave and even tried the monkey bars on her own. We're loving the weather right now and hoping it'll stick around for a few more months.
