Farming and Swimming

For our first weekend back from vacation, we decided we'd start our summer visits to Lake Mead. Before we went though, we visited Gilcrease Orchard to pick some fresh vegi's and apples. The orchard was awesome! We got tomatoes, apples, and a HUGE zuchini. We were able to slice it up and grill it like steaks. So yummy. Then we headed out to Lake Mead, where our cell phone took a 20 minute swim. Needless to say, we FRIED the thing and had to replace it that afternoon. Then that evening, our friends, the Jentzsch family, invited us over to swim. We took full advantage of that with the 115 degree weather we've been having.
