Our babies are always so modest. Today we went in for our doctor's appointment, and despite the best efforts on the doctor's behalf to see what the sex is of the baby, our baby is being so modest. Well, either that or pulling a prank on us by wanting to moon us all the time. Every time the doctor would move the ultrasound wand, the baby would move with it. So, we have to wait another 4 weeks. Next visit though, we get the 20 week ultrasound. The radiologist does a really thorough job and we always end up with a ton of pictures. So we're excited for that appointment.
We also took Jocey with us today so she could see the baby. She was excited to see the baby on the television screen and to hear the heartbeat. I think she's really starting to understand what is happening. She's so cute about it all. This morning I asked her if she wanted to go to mommy's doctor. She said, "Yeah! I see the baby?" I said, "Yes, do you want to see it?" She said yes and patted my belly. She's going to be a great big sister. She is convinced though that it is a girl, just to reassure all of you who think it's a girl.
Everything looked great though and we are anxiously waiting our next visit. Here's the picture from today's photo op:

It was difficult to see the baby on this picture, so the doctor went ahead and drew in the baby's face for Jocey. Pretty handsome, eh? ;)

I think you're smart for going private. It's a scary world out there.
