Please Forgive the Mess

Well, we're in the home stretch - no pun intended. This coming Saturday is the big move. So, I'm in crunch time. I don't know if I'll get anything else other than this posted this week, so please just have patience with me, I'll get more posted in the coming weeks as I delve through the chaos that I've created.

Quick update: Jocey's sick, AGAIN! Holy freaking frijoles! Just another virus, but still, talk about your impecable timing! Jon's gone for training this week, which leaves me with a sick 2 year old, who LOVES to blow her nose on everything (paint a pretty picture for ya?), a house to finish packing, cleaning, and everything else I've committed myself to. (Thankfully, DeNae was divnely inspired to rearrange MoYo and Children's Choir rehearsals this week so that all I have to do is move my family. Bless you, dear woman.)

And then, we have this:

"Give-Mom-a-Heart-Attack" Adventure Land (Definition: We're just lucky that in this first shot, she's on the stairs side of the banister - usually it's the other side. While I was packing one day, she snaked one of my boxes and decided to use it as a makeshift sleeping bag to slide down the stairs in - yeah, didn't work too well - THANKS GALBRAITHS!)

Casa del Tattoo (Definition: first she does a temporary tattoo using stickers, to make sure it looks just right. Then, she broke into Daddy's office and got his pen to do permanent version. I guess this is her version of a tribal tattoo.)

Maybe this is why this is my favorite part of the day:

So please forgive our mess and look forward to more pictures once we're in the new house. See you on the East side of the freeway!

The joys of a toddler!! That is so funny her little drawings on her hand! My kid always end up using their tummies as the canvas for some reason!! =) Wish I were there to help you out with the move!

My kids like to slide down the stairs on a air mattress! Yikes is that noisy!

Are you sooo excited for your new house? I am thrilled for you and your family! You are gonna love it!

We used to slide down our stairs in a plastic laundry basket. Good times.

I'm sorry that you're so stressed out. Moving bites. I am excited for you to move into your new house, though. It looks so nice! You're going to love having more room.
