Thanksgiving Part 2

Our second day up at the cabin was Thanksgiving Day. What can I say - great food, more snow (we had a foot and a half by the end of the day), naps, more great food, and more memories.

Thanksgiving lunch (we ate early in the day so we could play more) was delicious - turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, pies (oh my!). It was also really nice to have everyone there to help out. It wasn't a big cooking ordeal at all, so we were able to enjoy the day more. Jocey loved olives. This was her first time with whole olives, and she knew right where they belonged without any coaching.

Jon, Dylan, Londyn, Grandma, and Grandpa were glad there was more snow. They headed out after dinner and started work on the Yates Swains Creek Fort.

We finished out the night with our traditional round of cards. It was fun, and Dylan even got whip creamed! This was definitely the way to spend Thanksgiving Day.
