Why I love the weather in Las Vegas

Jon and I always joke about the weather here in Las Vegas, or rather the meteorologists inability to predict it accurately. Case in point - we got up this morning, the forecast was for our typical sunny skies, temps around 105, and a light breeze. Here's what it looks like outside right now:

And when it forecasts for rain, we have clear skies. Well done, National Weather Service, well done. :) The other favorite thing of ours is when it does rain in Las Vegas, it somehow seems to avoid our neck of the woods:

Notice how the rain echos show up AROUND the center point of the map? Yeah, that's where we are. Oh, how I wish it would rain here at OUR house.

I so agree. They just can't predict the forcast. I laugh at Fox5 everynight trying to tell ya what the weather is the next day. (David gets kind of annoyed with me, doing that). But the rain was wonderful yesterday.

You guys always look like you are keeping busy with lots of fun stuff. So I have to tell you that I made your recipe for the pumpkin french toast AMAZING! I also made the parm chicken with the ritz crackers another huge hit at my house! Thanks for sharing your yummy recipes and making my life easier!

LOVED monday's suprise rainstorm! I totally agree, the forecasters here in vegas just can't seem to get it together. Also wanted to wish Jocey a very happy 2nd birthday ... looks like it was a great one!
