On Tuesday, we left Evanston to head out to Tooele. The original plan was to spend the day in Park City (do a little hiking, ride the Alpine Slide and Coaster), but the weather just wasn't cooperating. It had snowed some more over the previous weekend, so everything was still closed. So instead, we made our way down into the valley and hit up the thriving metropolis of Sandy! Oh what fun we had! :) We first stopped and had lunch at Carino's, which was excellent. Then we made our way over to the new aquarium off of 10600 South. It was pretty fun. They have a lot of child friendly exhibits, a touch pool, and lots of fish. Grandma Cook and Aunt Lizzy went with us, and we all had a good time watching Jocey check things out. After that, we headed out to downtown to drop Lizzy off at her shuttle back to Rexburg. Then we made our way out to Tooele.
Jocey and Aunt Lizzie checking out the fish
Us girls, hanging with the eels and rock fish
We loved the jellyfish display - very cool!
Octopus - sometimes I wish I had that many arms!
Shark teeth - I remember when we gave these out as souvenirs in Mississippi!
Jocey's ready to steer the boat! Ahoy, maties!
Jocey and Daddy exploring the coral reef
Jocey's all ready to be a fish, she even knows how to "swim" through the coral!
Shark Attack! "Hello Brucie!"
Aunt Lizzy was very fond of the dolphin hat - look out Flipper, it's Zipper!
Jocey loved the frogs
We had fun in the touch pool - it had fish and sting rays
There was a pretty big shark tank at the aquarium, Jocey finally realized they are not so scary

How fun! I've never even heard of that place and I live like 15 minutes away.
Um, that's Lizzy? Where have the years gone?! I am getting so old.
Looks like you guys had fun. We were going to go to the aquarium, but then Analisa chose to go to the kid's museum. We will have to go check the aquarium out next time we are up there.
