Our Trip, Part 2 - The Veter Hent and a Treadmill

Monday was Memorial Day. And it was a cold, rainy day in Evanston. Basically, the whole first 2/3rds of our trip was spent indoors. We thought we'd get out of the Vegas heat, but man, this was ridiculous. Anyway, Emily and Hyrum came up to visit, along with Savannah and baby girl 2 on the way. We had laughs galore, admired the Veter Hent, and had so much fun watching the two Cook cousins playing together. The highlight of the day was Jocey riding down the track of the treadmill. Grandpa Cook thought it would be a good idea to put her at the top of the treadmill, turn it on a low speed, and let her ride it out like a conveyor belt. The next question that came was, "I wonder how high we can get it up to and how far we can shoot her off." That question came both from Grandpa and Dad. She had so much fun. Check out the video at the end.

Jocey and Mommy wrestling. Isn't Wyoming popular for wrestlers?

Savannah with the Mardi Gras beads - "THROW ME SOMETHING, MISTER!"

Daddy playing with Savannah, she thought he was pretty goofy like her own daddy.

The girls playing dolls with Aunt Sara

Lizzy - "What, I really have to go back to school?"

When all was said and done, at the end of the day, we said, "Ah Veter Hent" to our vitamins and, "Auf Wiedersehen," to Wyoming. (inside joke)
