The Pool is Open!

With our first day over 100 degrees being Saturday, and today we could top out at 110, we thought it might be a good day to break out the pool for Jocey and Shylowe. We quickly found out though that our old little wading pool is no longer big enough for the two of them. We'll probably have to go pick up another one for Shylowe to play in all by herself. Needless to say, they both had a great time and it helped to cool them off. I thought Jocey might be a little timid about getting in right away, but my little water baby sees water, especially if it's outside, and she's hooked! Even when I've watered the plants outside, she loves to splash in the puddles. I think Jocey was getting a little stir crazy being in the house all the time, and when it gets this hot you don't really want to walk to the park (even if they have water toys there!). She was really excited to wear her new swimsuit and hat. She looks so dang cute and grown up in it. Where did my baby go?! :) Here are a few pictures and videos of the day.
