One Reason of Many

I have always said that I can live anywhere. I have lived all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. I have lived in poverty stricken areas. I have lived in a trailer, a condo, a house, an apartment, you name it. Living in Las Vegas has given me something to complain about. I can handle the heat. I can handle the undrinkable tap water. I can even handle having to go down to the strip every once in a while. But one of the biggest things I HATE (yes, it's a strong word, but I am using it) about Las Vegas is this:

Say hello to the first roach of the season in the house! I hate these things. I thought when we moved from Mississippi that I was done with the 1-2 inch long creepy, nasty, won't be killed except by a nuclear weapon roach! I should have taken a picture of the huge wolf spider we had on our front window a week ago, but I was just eager to flush that thing away. Shylowe has also had her fair share of encounters here, being stung by a scorpion a time or two. The bugs here have definately been impacted by nuclear waste, making them enormous. So, needless to say, I have found my weakness when it comes to living just anywhere!
