(This is Shylowe, our dog-ter. She turned 8 years old this month. She is a blue heeler-collie mix. We've have had for almost all of those 8 years. Jon rescued her from the Humane Society in Salt Lake. And she is AWESOME! She has seen us all through so much and we love her.)
My conversation with Jocey this morning:
Jocey: "Mom, Shylowe has a brain."
Me: "Yes, Jocey, she does. That's why she is so smart."
a little while later...
Jocey: "Mom, Shylowe has a heart!"
Me: "Yes, she does. That's why she can run so fast and why she loves you so much."
a little while later...
Jocey: "Mom, guess what else Shylowe has!"
Me: "Um, soft hair?"
Jocey: "Nope. She has a squishy butt!"
I could not contain my laughter. I am so glad that I am aware of this now. It really is invaluable information. Out of the mouths of babes.
