Busy Week

I had a busy week last week.  I finished out a month's worth of part time work (in 2 weeks!).  Our family FINALLY is healthy and all at the same time!  It's a miracle.  In preparation for our family pictures, taken by my most talented cousin, Kristen, I gave myself a much needed pedicure.  I love when my toenails look pretty. 

I got a wild streak one morning and decided to redo my laundry room, paint and all.  It took me about 1 hour to do it all.  And I absolutely love the result.

Despite the wind, Jocey and Caylee got out and enjoyed some laps around the patio on their bikes.  I love having a big patio in the backyard for them to play on.

On Saturday, we had our family pictures taken at the Bellagio.  I cannot wait to see them.  Kristen did an amazing job and from what I saw on her camera, they are simply stunning!  My girls had been up all night the night before, waiting for Grandma and Grandpa Cook (who surprised us with a visit over the weekend), and then we walked around the Bellagio for about 2 1/2 hours, so as soon as we got in the car afterwards, they CONKED OUT (including my dad).

It was a good week.  I'll post more pictures from the weekend when I can.  It was good to have my parents here for a few days.  They came with us to have the pictures taken, then we headed out to have sushi.  We introduced my dad to REAL sushi and we all walked away way too full for our own good.  We spent today relaxing, playing games, playing the Wii and watching movies.  It was so nice to have them here.  My girls certainly love their Grandma and Grandpa Cook.
