Where's my winter wonderland?

(Good thing it's bulk trash day tomorrow!  Holy bags and bags of yard clippings and weeds!)

I spent the morning cleaning up the yard.  We're supposed to get another major storm coming in tomorrow, bringing rain for the next week.  Maybe snow?  Yeah, I'm not counting on it.  So I headed out this morning, trimmed the palm trees in the backyard, pulled some weeds, distributed mulch around the flower beds, and cleaned up the back patio.  Oh, and sprayed the MASSIVE amounts of grass growing in the yard with weed killer.  I wish I could let it grow, but it just doesn't look right in patches here and there.  Total bummer.

I have been feeling much better the last 2 days.  Not completely better, but the headaches have subsided a bit.  I pulled out one of our contoured pillows to sleep on, and it helped the relieve the pressure on my neck a bit.  The ear ringing is still as persistent as it has been, and the vertigo has presented itself.  Doctor's diagnosis?  Meniere's Disease.  I didn't post anything about it before because I just simply didn't believe him.  But now that more and more symptoms of it are presenting, I am starting to think he is right.  What does that mean for me?  Learning to live with ear ringing, vertigo, and potential hearing loss.  :(  That's the extreme side of things.  We'll just take it as it comes.  I have to go in and have a PLETHERA of bloodwork done on Thursday, after fasting.  LUCKY ME!

(Caylee loved having Daddy home for the holiday weekend.  She got lots of cuddles in.)
