(Caylee, looking on at the holiday preparations and eager for a sneak peak of the presents under the tree.)
Can it really be Christmas Eve tomorrow? It has flown by. Most of the month has been a blur for me. I have spent the majority of today cooking - Gumbo, cornbread stuffing, turkey marinade...it's going to be quite the feast tomorrow.
I had a doctor's appointment finally, yesterday afternoon. Nothing was decided. There are tests to be done, including a blood test to confirm that I have PCOS. I would be shocked if it came back negative. As for the headaches, no conclusion, no ideas - I have to keep a headache journal for the next 2 months while avoiding as much pain medicine as possible. :( WAH! Ringing in the ears - the preliminary diagnosis is Meniers disease. My opinion - that's incorrect. The only symptom I have of that is the ringing in the ears. Nothing else matches. But, again, tests to be done. The doctor's exact words - "A gambit of tests to be done." Bummer. Good thing I've gotten over my fear of needles, right? So in the meantime, no pain meds, no birth control pills, no fun.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to our Cajun Night Before Christmas party tomorrow and Christmas morning. Almost there! Here is a view of some of my favorite ornaments on our family tree:
