(The apple pie that Jocey and I made today. I love cooking with her!)
Today we spent the day preparing for Thanksgiving. We made an apple pie and the stuffing. Tomorrow brings more preparation. It smells so good in the house right now, and I secretly wish I was looking out my window at some white stuff. Yes, snow. It's blizzarding at my parents' house right now and I am slightly jealous. Not jealous because they'll have to dig out in the morning, but jealous because it's so beautiful when it snows. Plus it just makes it "feel" like the holidays. Kind of a downer. But at least my windshield scraper will stay packed.
We found a lump on the back of Jocey's head last night. I am worried about it. I made an appointment for her to see the pediatrician next week. I hope that it is nothing serious. I couldn't handle losing her. I spent all day with her today. She helped me cook, we played Strawberry Shortcake and Mario Brothers, we watched television, we did preschool, we cuddled. I love this kid. So, for the next week, I will love on her and pray that I will get that opportunity for decades to come and that she will be healthy.
