An abundance of blessings, and bubbles

(Um, so I got a little busy today and left the water running in the kitchen sink - DUR!  Fortunately, no water spilled out of the sink, it just overflowed into the opposite sink.  We just had a plethora of bubbles, which Jocey had absolutely no problem with)

Today was a busy day for me.  I realized that in one week we have 2 birthdays to celebrate, in 2 weeks we have Thanksgiving!  HOLY CRAP, BATMAN!  Where has this month gone?  So, I started taking down my Fall decorations in preparation for Christmas to be put up - don't worry, it won't happen until at LEAST next weekend.  :)

I had piano students today and they started their Christmas music.  Jocey was so proud of the progress that she has been making on the piano, she wanted to play her songs for the other students.  It was so neat.  I love that she is the same age as I was when I started playing.  And she is very ready for it.  All the students are excited to play Christmas music.  Not so sure about the parents.  I was informed by one of them that their mom hates the Chipmunk Christmas Song, but "maybe it'll be better on the piano."  Sorry parents.  Only a few more weeks.  :)

My friend had her baby today.  She is a healthy, TEENIE, little girl with the most beautiful lips I have ever seen on a baby.  I am so happy for her, I have been glowing for the last 12 hours.  I just wish I could be there to hug my friend and share in her joy of having her own little miracle baby to hold.  It is just wonderful.  And my Auntie Evelyn is fading.  She's stopped eating, she sleeps a lot, I think she is just tired.  She's ready to go home.  She has so many people who love her here and on the other side.  I am grateful she has so many people to watch over her.
