This week was obviously spent indoors. We did a lot of cleaning and packing, Jocey did a lot of work with preschool stuff. We were able to squeeze a fun afternoon at the park Sunday before the storm started. Jocey sure loves playing on the playground and is a very active little girl. It's nice that she is a little bit older now and more aware of her surroundings. She has a sense of adventure that sometimes pushes me over the edge, but I do my best to stand back and just be ready to catch her.

Caylee is 2 months old now. She is making sure her voice is heard - she is definitely not the quiet baby that Jocey was. She wants to make sure we know she is here and has something to say. She talks to everything around the house. It's pretty cute. She also has lots of smiles for her family and loves to hang out with Jocey already. I just hope it stays that way in their relationship. I know there will be times when they get sick of each other and want their own space, but I'll enjoy this while I can have it.
Jocey has started preschool. I decided that it wasn't worth paying a glorified babysitter to teach her, so I bought a workbook, some flashcards, and writing paper and we sit down each day for about 30 minutes and work on writing and learning her letters. She is very smart and is picking it up quickly. We have been trying to be more active as a family, so we're making a point of taking her to the park at least once a week. She has also taken up yoga with me. It's pretty fun watching her world expand.
So, another week down and one on the way. I wish it would slow down a little so I could catch up! Any advice on that? Maybe I just need to take more Celexa. :)
A quick update on my dad: he is doing well and working hard in Kirkuk. He has found a small fishing hole (would you believe it?) and is looking forward to having another way to spend his spare time. We bought him a Kindle for Christmas in hopes that he would be able to do some reading. We found out though this week that it doesn't work over there due to lack of internet connection. Again, any advice?

Catherine you look so good and that Caylee of yours (and Jocey too for that matter) is sure getting bigger and cuter too! We missed you at the wedding, what a bummer after the c-section, but we hope to see you soon!
