One Month Old (and a hug)

Caylee had her one month birthday this last week. With the late night feedings (which are down to once or twice now), the crazy days that seem to just make my house more out of control, it has flown by in a hurry. I am happy to report that at her 3 week visit, our little chunker weighed in at 10 pounds! 10 POUNDS PEOPLE! She lost 1 1/2 pounds in the hospital, which means she gained 2 1/2 pounds in 3 weeks. HOLY COW! She has already grown out of her newborn clothes and is on her way to outgrowing her 3 month clothes already. She has cracked a smile a couple of times and even gave us a little laugh one night. She is doing fantastic and we are all smitten with her.



Have you ever seen a one month old give hugs? Well, Caylee does. When I put her up to my shoulder, she full on hugs me around my neck. It is so sweet and I L-O-V-E it! Good thing my hormones aren't raging, sniff sniff.
