What do we do with 9 pounds of peaches?
The Bishop's Storehouse got a bunch of peaches from Utah this week, which we were allowed to purchase as part of the Home Storage program for the church. We went over there on Monday morning (which I dragged Jon out of bed to go get with me) and purchased 9 pounds! Oh my word are they YUMMY! So, yesterday afternoon, I made a pie. Today I made freezer jam. Tomorrow, I am going to pick up another case (25 pounds) of peaches, and half a case of tomatoes! I am so excited! You cannot get peaches like these anywhere else but Utah. So delicious.
