We spent the evening enjoying a delicious dinner of sushi. I was a little worried about how my stomach would handle it, but it worked fabulously! I haven't eaten something that settled my stomach that much in a long time! And if we can recommend a good place to eat Sushi in Las Vegas, we totally vouch for Sushi Ko. We LOVE that place - the sushi is fabulous, the chefs are awesome, and the staff is so good. If you want some recommendations on what to get there, let us know - we've tried just about everything on their menu. They have great specialty rolls, nagiri, appetizers, oh, I am just drooling writing about this! And it is also great for kids - everytime we go, Jocey enjoys her bowl of Edamame and Gyoza. I didn't take any pictures this time because I figured that I have posted pictures of their sushi a million times.
After dinner, we went and got Jon a cake. While we were trying to pick it out, Jocey informed us she wanted a chocolate cake. Then when the bakery worker asked her if she wanted something written on the cake, she nodded her head. She said, "Happy Birthday, Daddy!" And so it was written.
The night ended on a down note though - DO NOT rent "7 Pounds" thinking you are going to go to bed happy and upbeat. It is definitely a downer movie. Will Smith is WONDERFUL, but depressing.
Then on Saturday, Jon got his ultimate boys night out - our brother-in-law, Eric, invited him over to have a steak dinner, watch a little basketball, and shoot some hoops. They love doing this together and I am so glad that they had that night to just hang. All in all, I'd say Jon had a great birthday weekend.

I have to say I'm not sure about 7 pounds either. If it had ended differently I think I would have thought it was a great movie, but I just couldn't get over the end....
