Doing a little couch up, I mean catch up

So, life nowadays is viewed mainly from the living room couch. My poor little toddler is getting a well balanced diet of fruit loops, fish crackers, and macaroni and cheese (when I can keep my food down while preparing it!). I have a 20 pound bag of potatoes sitting in my pantry since that seems to be one of the only foods I can keep down while I am pregnant. And my poor hubby is wondering when I am going to see another room besides the living room and bathroom. For someone who hates throwing up more than me, he is such a trooper.

So I am taking the opportunity today to blog ALL the things that have been going on here over the last two weeks.

Jocey went to her first movie at the movie theater. We took her to see "Monsters vs. Aliens." She really did great for having to sit for over an hour.

Easter was exciting at our house this year. We actually dyed eggs, and by we I mean me. Jocey was all about it until she saw the dye on Mommy's fingers. She's a dirt-o-phob, so she wasn't about to get her hands dirty. But she did enjoy putting her princess stickers on her eggs afterwards, and her face.

Easter morning she hunted for her eggs, enjoyed her goodies that the Easter bunny brought her ("Cars," chapstick, and lots of candy), and then had a blast in church. After church, Grandpa Yates showed up at our house. We had a wonderful dinner with him and Jocey had a blast playing with her Grandpa.

Jocey gets to spend a lot of time with Daddy lately, since Mommy is so blessed boring. :) Jon is such a good dad, and I am so excited that he gets to be dad to another one.

So that's life in a nutshell.

You're a good sport and a good mommy to do all this when you feel so yucky! Happy (belated) easter!
