The second day, we decided to lay low, and take Jocey to the park. I don't know if my mom and Hannah considered that laying low after being run into the ground by Jocey. Then that night we went out to one of my favorite restaurants, Cabo, for a pre-birthday dinner. Since my family will not be here for my birthday, we decided to go out and celebrate this weekend.
The third day (it's starting to sound a little like the Creation here), we went to church, ate good food, got Jon ready to leave for California today, and had a ton of laughs, at Jocey's expense largely. The best part of the night was when we were sitting at the dinner table and Jocey was talking to Hannah. Hannah could not understand what Jocey was saying and replied to Jocey's "lecture" by saying, "Jocey, I don't understand what you are saying so I am going to go ahead and pretend like I do, okay?" and Jocey replies, "What?" It was hilarious. There are some pictures here that look like Jocey has frosting all over her face and fingers...it's not frosting, it's sour cream. Her tastes crack me up. And then Jocey thought we should just pack her in Daddy's suitcase to go with him to Cali. Poor kid, has to stay home with boring Mommy. Jocey had a great time with her Grandma Cook and Aunt Hannah, and we look forward to them coming back.
