[ Meal Plan Monday ]

Oh, today is going to be a long day. Jon and I had a lovely night being up with our two year old with the stomach flu. Poor kid. She's only had the flu one other time, and at least this time she was in a bed so she could get up to throw up. I will not go into details, but last time was not pretty.

This time, she amazed me. Each time she got sick, she made it all the way into our bedroom without loosing it. I had nothing to clean up! That part was nice. The not so nice part was being up from 2:00 AM on. Now, as long as Jon and I can make it through the next 24 hours without getting sick, I think we're good.

This past week has been interesting as well. I won't go into too much detail about the beginning of the week, but I will say that on Thursday my wallet was stolen. That'll put a damper on things a bit, especially since I was planning on voting early. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm so ready for a quiet, non-eventful week.

On THAT note, let's talk about food! :) We're slowly running out of freezer meals. My honest opinion - it hasn't saved us THAT much money, and it's given us more heartburn than I care for. So unless they redo the menu, I don't think I'll be doing it again next month. Here are our meals for this coming week:

Sunday: Lasagna (NOT freezer meal) and salad
Monday: Freezer Meal Apricot Chicken
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Steak, Salad, Mashed Potatoes
Thursday: Crock Pot Rotisserie Chicken and Salad
Friday: Taco Soup
Saturday: Waffles, Hashbrowns, Eggs

Ohhhhh, poor Jocey ... poor Cat and John! I hate it when people say, "Yeah, it's going around" ... but you know what, "It's going around!" =) Would it help if the Pryor's went ahead and got it next? =/ ... because i'm SURE we're due. Well, we certainly hope you guys feel better soon ... good lookin' meal plan, as usual! We're ummmmm, having Little Ceasars Monday Madness tonight ... can't beat a $5 dollar pizza ... and sadly, it's starting to taste pretty darn good to us. =)
