Check Please!

I was online the other night, trying to reorder our checks. It's amazing to me how you can show your personality and loyalties on a little sheet of paper with a lot of numbers on it. You know the process - pick out your design, check your names and addresses, select the font you want to use, and decide if you want an image. And now, they have an option of adding an expression (which is just a fancy word for tag line) to your check! I personally think this is a brilliant idea for those of us wanting to get the last word in on the exhorbitantly large rent check (anyone else out there think rent prices are ridiculous? Us too, that's why we're house hunting, but that's more for a later blog). While trying to decide which tag line to use on our checks, we came up with a few:

1. I collect signatures.
2. Did you like my fake ID?
3. Say hello to my little numbers!
4. I'd rather be saving.
5. I'm the piece of paper your mother warned you about.
6. Jon's favorite - "Bow to my awesome rockness."
7. My favorite, from the check website - "Go ahead and cash it, I DARE YOU."

Ultimately though, I think this is the check I will choose, thus showing where my loyalties lie:

If you have any tag lines you like, leave us a comment - maybe you'll make it on our next set of checks!

I am not clever enough for tag lines but I just wanted to say I am so glad you found my blog. I love seeing how people are doing so this is great that we can check in. I already am a fan of your blog and am definitely going to keep reading!

We have a tag line....GO UTES! Just kidding! When do you guys want to get together? Call me and we'll plan it!

It would be much better in crimson with a great big drum and feather logo right in the middle with the tag line somewhere along the lines of: GO UTES!!! One of these days you will see the light :)

I once saw a bumper sticker that read:

You! Out of the gene pool!

That's a nice one for the bank to see. Of course, the bank isn't in the gene pool. And it's kind of rude. But funny, too. Oh, well. I guess that's why we don't have a tag line.
