Our Trip, Part 6.2 - More Friends at the Gateway

Our afternoon in Salt Lake was filled with reunions with old friends. We met up with our friends Kenny and Tristen (who used to be Catherine's old roommate) and their little girl, Kyla. We also reunited with Maria, Catherine's friend of 20 years! The two of them grew up together in Mississippi and then were roommates at Ricks College. We spent a little while at the Clark Planitarium.

Jocey liked all the hands-on stuff, especially the nebula display

Button, button, who's got the button?

Jocey loved the ball maze - it had a ton of wheels to turn and levers to push

After the planitarium, we said goodbye to the Duncans, and then headed over to Build a Bear. Catherine has been wanting to make one of these for Jocey ever since she found out she was pregnant, but wanted Jocey to have the choice of what she wanted. So we waited until this trip so she was old enough to choose. She named her new friend "Puppy" - yeah, generic, we know, but at least she knows what it is!

In the end, Jocey loved her new friend, "Puppy"

After an exciting time at the store, Jocey fell asleep in her stroller, so we decided to go have a little sushi for dinner. It was a good time, and we really enjoyed the good food, conversation, and yet another memory. We then headed back to the hotel for a good night's sleep before we would head home Saturday morning.

Back at the hotel room, we were a little loopy from the long day
