I remember when I was a little girl, how I would love to watch my dad play the piano. I remember he would play songs like "Misty" or "Leader of the Band." And that sparked my interest in playing the piano. Since then, I have been blessed to share my talent in playing the piano with many people who have crossed my path, and some who have not.
Now, it makes me smile and beam with pride and joy to see my daughter interested in the same things. She loves to sit down to the piano and plunk out some unfamiliar tune, sing along with this song that she undoubtedly knows, and even strum the guitar strings as her daddy plays and sings to her. One of our favorite times of the day is right after her bath - I wrap her up in a warm towel, hold her close to me, and sing to her. She loves the primary songs already, and is becoming quite fluent at "Popcorn Popping," "Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes," and even "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." I am so happy that she loves music so early in her life.
Dueteronomy 31:19 - "Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel..."
D&C 25:12 - "For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads."

That is so cute. That is neat that she loves music. I have heard that if the parents are musical the children tend to go that way. Angelo loves pulling himself up to the piano and pushing down the keys.
That's a neat picture of you and your Dad. You were always such a good pianist. I could hear you from our house sometimes and wished that I could have been as good as you. Then again, you practiced more than I did too. You mean you actually have to practice to be that good? Hmmm, what a concept! I'm glad that your daughter loves music. It's so important for kids to learn an instrument and appreciate REAL music, I think.
That was the cutest video ever! No doubt I'll be buying tickets to one of her concerts in the near future. So cute!
You're right she is sooo cute! Thanks so much for all of your sweet comments and for taking the time to update the family cookie cutter, it's so fun to read. I know I'm horrible with the blogging and scrapbooking, but I love to read it all! You're family is beautiful and I can't wait to attend one of jocey's concerts:)!
