The downside? I seriously feel like I'm living in a cave for the whole summer. BLAH! The upside? I get to open my windows at night! And, it gives me the opportunity to get creative with window coverings. This year I attempted to make my own curtains for our master bedroom. Not too shabby, but I'm definitely not getting hired on as an interior decorator. Oh well, I can dream, right? Right, in my CAVE!

The Cave of Wonders
Well, it's official - Spring is here. As so are the warm temperatures. With our first day breaking 80 degrees, our house has been turned into... Dum, dum, dum... (in a loud, booming voice) THE CAVE OF WONDERS! Okay, okay, so it's not so wondrous, but it's still a cave. We learned last year that once the warm temperatures break in Las Vegas, the windows must be covered up in order to keep air conditioning costs to a minimum.
